The Naughty Pine/ Secluded Woodland Getaway w/ Pet Friendly Bliss

We found this property to be poorly represented by the listing. The downstairs room with bunk beds is a converted basement. Low ceilings, exposed water heater, musty smell, and a large amount of bugs including horse flies and a centipede. I was looking forward to enjoying the relaxing spaces on the deck. What I found instead was no hammock (which is shown in photos), a camera with motion censored lights on the corner of the deck that made evening by the firepit feel anything but relaxing when flood lights came on with every move. The bedding was also stained, we had to change it on arrival. We decided to end our trip early because of this experience. When I reached out to the property manager to let her know we were leaving early and why, I got no response. Save yourself time and $ and don’t bother with this one.

This the 2nd time we have stayed at this property. We really enjoyed it. Very comfortable. The deck is great for our fur babies.

Nice secluded cabin for a quick getaway. We had a great time in the surrounding area! Lots to explore!

House location was perfect, very quiet surrounded by gorgeous trees with a nice trail to walk nearby. Perfect size for our family of four and two small dogs. We enjoyed the deck and fire pit in the evenings. 30 minutes to Pinecrest Lake. We also visited Twain Harte for some thrifting and dinner, and Lyons Dam and reservoir was also a nice place to spend a few hours.
