Lovely home among the trees
2 adults and 1 dog stayed for 6 nights in this lovely home. Communicating with our host was easy and the cabin itself is quite lovely - a nice location at the end of the road with lots of privacy and walking trails nearby. We spent lot of time lounging on the deck under the shade of the sugar pines. We slept in the upstairs loft space (did not spend any time in the downstairs because we had no need for it). The kitchen was well equipped for what we needed. Overall, a lovely getaway and a responsive host. All that said, on the 4th of July we heard “celebratory” gunfire over the course of the day in the distance and found bullet shells on a trail…a bit nerve racking for us and our dog. That part is no reflection on the host or the house, just something one should know about the area. But if that isn’t a big deal for you, definitely check this home out.

Enjoyable Cabin in a Secluded Area
We enjoyed our two-night stay in The Naughty Pine. What we liked most about it was the privacy given it's located at the end of a road. Lots of firewood provided as well.
There were a couple issues though:
1. Cabin was too cold (50 F) upon our arrival (all wall units were off) and the fire supply (starter and matches) were missing. I contacted the manager and they delivered some to me, but it still took a while for the cabin to get warm. Would've appreciated it if the cabin was at least preheated a bit.
2. The other issue was that the Murphy bed had not been cleaned. So we couldn't use it.

Winter Games
The cabin is cozy and comfortable! Everything worked great and is very clean and up to date. It’s near the bottom of the road almost by itself, and the driveway is paved and flat which was great for my mother who had mobility issues. Overall this was one of the better place I have stayed in this area.

Lovely Forest Cabin
My family and I decided to take a small getaway from the city. As others stated the entrance road was a little bumpy but still very easy to navigate. The cabin does feel pretty secluded and there is a tree intentionally going through the deck which all of us thought was pretty neat. The creek was easy to find and in the evenings we enjoyed seeing a goat farmer pass by with their goats. The kids got a kick out of the "cubby" beds, they loved them! If you have children and a dog then this is your place! They had some fun board games we got to play as well.
We intended to travel to Yosemite but Stanislaus had some great kid and dog friendly hiking trails so we stayed in the area. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked (thankfully because we cook all our own meals) and we even found some bug spray which we had forgotten to pack.
We had a fantastic time and would definitely visit again.

Weekend get away.
The property was very nice, perfect for the three of us and our dog. The area was beautiful and very quiet. I loved that it was at the end of the road away from other cabins. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog out on the deck where he was contained and couldn’t get into trouble. It was well designed and very cozy. Our day trip to the lake was ten miles away. The kids had a blast. The management company was very helpful. We will be back.
